1 hr to blast lesson n i decided to slack my time away!! haa cos of 2 sleepless nights, i can finally lepak (a teeny weeny bit)

i realised how much responsibility a social worker has. it's like one wrong assessment or intervention and you gonna like affect goodness knows how many pple's lives! i felt real incompetent during my SW2103 tutorial in which we had to hold a group session for the BPC teenagers. i realised how tough it was to coordinate the 'teens' (acted out by our classmates) and getting them to cooperate. after Ms Nair guided us on how to go about conducting the session, i realised this requires lots of creativity which is seriously lacking in my brain department. ): one more tutorial to try to apply what i learn and hopefully i'll be confident enough to volunteer to act as the social worker as it's really the only time u can try out. imagine during placement when ur supervisor will view u frm the one-way mirror!! gosh!!!

n i realised that what im studying now has so much relevance to my future job and im getting a lil stressed out cos' i cant even list out the basic models at the back of my head.

psy essay next week but i seriously need to brush up on my sw stuff first!! argh!!

regarding joe, im still v troubled. ive no idea what to do with him. apply behavior modification? isolate him when he's naughty? using rewards and punishments? sometimes im afraid he doesnt understand what rewards and punishments mean but i guess i could be v wrong. hmm, must constantly remind myself notto underestimate his abilities!!
